The myth that soccer isn’t a sport for girls has long been debunked.

Coaches Amani, Stacie, and Viulka are a testament to the power of football in shaping the lives of immigrant children, and particularly girls growing up in the neighborhood. As adults, they chose to channel their passion for the sport to help kids with similar backgrounds steer clear of adversity and access new opportunities through play.
